The small island in the southeastern part of the Sibenik channel, with the area of 0.36 sq. kilometers. The highest point on the island is only seven meters above the sea level. The inhabitants dive for sponges and corals, and work in agriculture. There is a sponge refinery in the village. |

It is situated in the Zlarin channel. Zlarin has the area of 8.2 sq. kilometers and it is located 2.5 nautical miles from Šibenik. Zlarin is also the only larger settlement, and the inhabitants are fishermen, seamen, coral divers and spongers. There is a hotel with beautiful sand swimming beach. The remains from the Neolithic and antiquity were discovered on the island. The baroque parish church was built from 1735 to 1740. |

The island with the area of 2.4 sq. kilometers, located 1.6 kilometers south-east from Vodice. There are two settlements: Prvić luka and Šepurine. The inhabitant live of vineyards, olive-groves, orchards and vegetable gardens, and fishing. |

The island with the area of 6.9 sq. kilometers with very indented coast and covered with macchia vegetation. The only settlement is Kaprije. Kaprije was sanctuary for the refugees before the Turks. The church was built in the 16th -17th century. |

It is located in front of the Kornati archipelago. Žirje is the largest inhabited island in the Šibenik archipelago with the area of 16.2 kilometers. It consists mostly of limestone, with a few fertile Karst fields. The dominant vegetation is macchia that is used for pasture. The inhabitants have vineyards, olive-groves and orchards. They are also fishermen. The only larger settlement is Žirje, located at some distance from the sea and connected with the cove Muna. |

The island with the area of 17.7 sq. kilometers, with about 5000 inhabitants in four settlements. It is the largest island of the Šibenik archipelago. It is separated from the mainland by the narrow Murter channel that is bridged by 37.5 meter long bridge. |
