Beaches on the island Hvar:
Zavala and Sveta Nedilja are one of the most beautiful places on the island with lots of secret and quite beaches for couples and families. It is located on the local road that goes from Jelsa, southern side of the island, you ride through Pitve then through the long and dark tunnel by car or motorcycle or you can take 2 hours with boat from Hvar.
Don't miss northern side of the island, choose also the local road that goes from Jelsa to Sućuraj. On the half way to Sućuraj you will find sign to Vela Stiniva: the beautiful secret bay which belongs to place Zastražišće-20 km from Jelsa. Close is also Mala Stiniva. All ideal for people with motorbikes and others who like piece and quiet..
The largest beach on the southern coast of the island is Dubovica, located 4 km east of Milna. It has a lagoon-like shape, ideal for families with car and children. The beach is made of white pebbles. You can come by a boat, bus or car.
The most popular beaches of the town Hvar are situated on the Pakleni islands-about twenty islets right opposite the town of Hvar, secluded beaches. The most popular ones are: Sv. Jerolim, Marinkovac, Sv. Klement, Palmižana; all great and popular for nudists, available to reach by taxy boats.
