The small island (5.8 sq. meters) about five kilometers soul west from Vis, with the highest point Straženica (240 meters). The central part is fertile field while the rest of the island is covered with macchia or rocks. On the north of the island there is a forest of pine. The settlements on the island are: Potok, Polje, Nevaja, Mezuporat and Salbunara. |

The island with the area of 28.8 sq. kilometers in the vicinity of Trogir and Split connected with the mainland by the draw bridge (in Trogir). There are a few caves on the island. The small early Romanesque church of Oui Lady Beside the Sea and the Dominican monastery of St. Cross are preserved in the village of Čiovo. |
